Detect multiple cytokines with FluoroSpot

Mabtech has developed a high quality FluoroSpot assay with capacity for simultaneous detection of two different cytokines at the single cell level using detection reagents labeled with green and red fluorochrome. This assay is of value when cellular co-expression patterns, e.g. poly- functional T cells, are studied or when there is a limited supply of cells.

The sensitivity of the FluoroSpot has been optimized for several cytokines to a level equal to that of the traditional Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSpot (ELISpot) and the assay has successfully been used to analyze both polyclonal and antigen-specific immune responses in ex vivo-stimulated peripheral T cells. The FluoroSpot assay analyzes secreted proteins, is simple to perform, easy to standardize, sensitive and suitable for high-throughput screening.
